Does anyone have any suggestions for a visitor? (places to go, things I should do)
Also, I heard there is a big event going on around that time and I'm having trouble finding a room because of it. Does anyone know about this event?

Tue, July 19, 2005 - 2:37 AMHey badfish,
Copenhagen has plenty to offer so it all depends on what you are into - and what the weather is like! If the weather is good going for walks in the city is really the best way to experience Copenhagen and Copenhageners - most of the main attractions are within walking distance from the city centre - and if the weather is bad, there are plenty of museums to go to: Statens Museum for Kunst (State Art Gallery) and Glyptoteket are both art museums and the buildings alone are worth seeing. www.aok.dk or www.visitcopenhagen.com should give you some ideas.
As for the event you are mentioning... I don't know what that might be, but usually when hotels are fully booked in CPH it's because of some huge convention. If you can adjust to the moderate level of luxury, a new hostel just opened on the harbour front, they have rooms as well: www.danhostel.dk (Copenhagen City Hostel). The rooms are supposed to be very nice and quite affordable compared to prices in CPH!
Anyway, feel free to ask, I might know one or two places to go :o)
Lars.
